Trip Kornati Islands

Departure is from the Pavlešina home port. Through the Srednji kanal (Middle channel) we sail along the island of Iž and further along village Žman on Dugi otok. In Žman there are two restaurants - "Regula" and "Roko". We sail further by village Zaglav to Sali where you can/must buy tickets for the Kornati National Park. We sail towards the passage of Mala Proversa. From here you can see Telašćica Nature Park, surrounded by cliffs, locally called "Stene“, rising up to 200m over the sea, and vertically falling down 80m into the sea.

We enter the Kornati National Park passing by the lighthouse at Vela Sestrica and reach Lavernaka, an uninhabited island in Kornati. The Kornati islands are a unique natural beauty of the Republic of Croatia. On the southwest side of Lavernaka is beautiful Lojena Beach which can only be reached by boat. There are only two houses and two restaurants on the island of Lavernaka - "Lavernaka" and "Andrija". After Laveranaka, we sail to the Isle of Mana with a diameter of 500 square meters. In 1959, the movie "As the Sea Rages" was filmed on Mana. We sail beyond the island Kornat to the island Piskera.

The largest place on the island Kornat is Vrulje, with 50-ish periodically inhabited houses. There is a restaurant "Core" in Vrulja. We sail further along the passage of Vela Proversa. Stone crosses can be seen on the island of Kornat. These memorial crosses were built to commemorate Croatian firefighters who lost their lives in Kornati Tragedy on 30. August 2007. A stone from Kornat was used.

We sail through the passage of Vela Proversa to the restaurant "Mare", than to Srednji kanal (Middle channel) between the islands Iž and Ugljan to the home port Pavlešina.
