The Dugi otok (Long island) route starts from the home port Pavlešina. We sail along the island of Sestrunj towards Zverinac and continue to Dugi otok, passing by military tunnels Zagrarčina, Paprenica and Bukašin. They were built by an army as a shelters for ships and crew. Along the islets Lagnjići we pass by an interesting wreck of the Italian ship Michelle sunk at 6m.
On the way to Saharun beach, we pass by the largest lighthouse on the Adriatic, Punta bjanka. Saharun is a favourite beach for swimmers and is suitable for small children. We continue on to the pebble beach Veli Zal, opposite the island Mežanj. Veli Žal beach is more than 1000m long, with a fine white sand in the water and pebble outside.
Sailing further, we pass by Brbinjščica bay, located SW of village Brbinj. It is surrounded by mighty cliffs and numerous caves, and is one of the safest anchorages on Dugi Otok facing the open sea.
300m NW from Brbinjščica bay is cave Golubinka. It is characterized by a long entry, which can be passed by swimming or a very narrow boat. The specialty of the Golubinka cave is its position over and beneath the sea surface.
We sail towards Telascica Bay. Nature Park Telašćica is located in the southeastern part of the island and with the surrounding waters as well as 13 islands, islets and rocks it makes a miraculous harmony of nature on 70,5 km². The cliffs of the island Dugi otok or locally called "Stene" are rising up to 200m over the sea, and vertically falling down 80m into the sea.
We sail further towards the Mala Proversa Pass and Lavdara Island. The inhabited island of Lavdara is located at the entrance of the Kornati National Park. Not far from Lavdara on the Long Island is village Sali. 2 NM away is place Zaglav where the fuel station for boats and cars is located.
Along the upper side of the island Iž we reach Ugljan and the home port of Pavlešina.
